Serabi led her daughter toward the creek. She always found it aggravating to visit this place, but sometimes it was necessary. She hated that some wolves thought this place was hexed by her very relatives, and usually just came here to defy them of that theory. She growled when Kariah tried to wander off, and took a drink from the safer part of the water. Kariah came to stand closer to her mother, and though she wasn't too fond of this routine, she knew she could do nothing about it. She stuck her head out over the water, looking down at her pallid reflection. Her light gray, almost white, fur stood out against almost everything, and she sometimes wished her fur was a different color.
Serabi watched the young female beside her. The female was almost of age, only a month away, and Serabi was becoming even more protective. She knew what could happen when you were a loner and in season. She'd had her own experiences with that piece of fate. She wished that she hadn't been overpowered, for that was one thing she hated most, but without that happening, she wouldn't have a daughter by her side. She sighed and looked in the opposite direction from the young wolf, and watched for any signs of danger. She could see Kariah's reflection in the water with her peripheral vision, so she knew the young female wasn't going anywhere.

Kahlia Selicia sniffed around, knowing that she was sort of trespassing on the loner's lands, though she also knew that they had nothing against Kiba's wolves. Seeing a mother and daughter wolf, she smiled casually, and barked a short and friendly greeting, so as not to disturb any privacy. Ambling towards them to make sure they wouldn't see her as a threat, she watched the creek warily, for she had vowed to never go near the vexed water. Her fur was a bit dirty from the long walk between Ticon Valley, which is where she usually spends her time, and here at Turntide Creek. Though usually clean-snow white, her fur was sort of grayish brown from all the dirt and dust particles. Her shiny, muddy brown eyes set off the white that still held her face, and made her more attractive than if she had dark brown eyes, as most wolves did.

Serabi looked up as the white wolf moved toward them. Kariah looked over curiously, longing for some other company than her mother. Not that she didn't like her mother, she just got bored from time to time. The young wolf barked, and her mother glanced at her. Kariah took no notice, but edged forward anxiously. She parted her jaws and her lips spread back toward her ears, in a wolf-ish smile.
Serabi was cautious, but the other female didn't seem very threatening. She seemed to be very friendly, though one could smell that she was no loner. What was she doing outside the safety of the white queen's pack? Serabi tilted her head, wondering why the female had come into loner territory. She noticed the warry glance that was given to the swirling waters, and she supressed a chuckle. "It won't hurt you, contrary to what many believe," she said as the female got closer.

Kahlia smiled at both the young pup and her mother's comment. "I'd rather not take the chance, but thanks for the offer," Kahlia remarked, sarcastically playing. She watched the young pup closely, recognizing her, though vaguely, as if she knew someone related to her. Sensing that the pup was almost of age, she wanted to warn Serabi to stand guard more so than she might have been previously in her daughter's life, but she thought better of it at the moment, for she had just met them, and they might take it as a threat instead of a caring caution.

The mother and daughter were very different from each other. Kariah looked nothing like her mother, except in size. Where her mother was black with lighter points, Kariah was white with brownish points. Sometimes this got her into trouble, for she was easily seen when she wasn't in snow. Her mother, though, easily kept herself hidden. She was very good at hiding, though she always stayed close.
"My name is Serabi," the dark wolf stated. She dipped her head in greeting, and looked at Kariah. "And I'm Kariah," the young wolf said. She tried to keep her voice controled, for she was very excited to meet another wolf after so long with only the company of her mother. She mimicked her mother, dipping her head slightly, though her tail was waving behind her. Serabi rolled her eyes. Her daughter's greeting wasn't what she preferred or what she herself had been tought as a pup, but it was coming along. Her mother was otherwise pretty motionless, always worried that something would go wrong, or that something would jump out of the shadows.

Silvia slipped through the trees, careful to hide herself, although it was hard with her red fur. Shimmying herself up a tree, and walking slowly along a branch, she hopped to the next tree and ignored the other wolves, although she could hear them. Cautiously lowering herself, onto the ground with her paws, and into the muddy stream, she drank plentiful gulps, thankful to finally taste water. Silvia's brain alert after hydrating herself, she watched the other females with her eyes.
She had nothing against the Loners or Kiba's wolves although didn't show it, but Silvia was wise enough to know that they had everything against her, or Lokken in particular. Hearing a patter of hooves behind her, she spotted a doe, but didn't dare go after it. Slivia didn't want to be found. By anything.

Kahlia sensed a nearby presence, but couldn't determine its direction, or its loyalty. Usually, she was able to scent the good or evil of the being, but somehow this scent was concealed. She kept a wary eye and ear alert, for anything could happen in the unsafe territory of the loners' lands. "Serabi, I have a bad feeling about this place," Kahlia mumbled. Her voice trailed off, her tone and speed of voice decreasing with each word. As soon as she had said it, she assumed Serabi would scowl and think she was talking about the place in general, for it was Turntide Creek.
